What truly sets La Finca Montréal apart is its double identity.
It’s both a cozy café where friends gather for brunch and a local market where you can buy farm products, including their own coffee, sourced directly from Honduras.
The light wood tables, natural brightness, and minimalist décor create a soothing atmosphere, perfect for slowing down and taking a break.
But be warned, this isn’t a digital nomad hangout! Large communal tables and laptops feel slightly out of place here.
I couldn’t resist trying their BLT bagel, a soft sesame bun filled with creamy sauce and crisp, fresh lettuce that perfectly balances the rich flavor of the bacon.
Then came a crispy pain au chocolat and a deep, not-too-sweet hot chocolate, rounding off the experience beautifully.
The only small drawback? The menu is a bit limited. It’s more of a spot for a gourmet pause or a quick brunch, rather than a grand feast to share.
But maybe that’s part of its charm, a human-sized café, sincere and unpretentious, where you take the time to truly appreciate what’s in your cup.
